Terms of Service

The rules for using Track-Subs. Plain language, no tricks.

Summary: Track-Subs is a subscription tracking tool. You connect your email, we scan for subscription receipts (read-only), and show you a dashboard. You can cancel anytime. We don't sell your data.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Track-Subs ("Service"), available at track-subs.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Track-Subs is operated by ALYAS GROUP LLC ("we", "us", "our"). You may contact us at support@track-subs.com.

2. Description of Service

Track-Subs provides subscription tracking, spending analytics, renewal alerts, cancellation assistance, and savings automation. The Service works by:

  • Connecting to your email account (Gmail, Outlook) with read-only access
  • Scanning your inbox for subscription-related emails (receipts, invoices, billing notifications)
  • Presenting detected subscriptions in a dashboard with pricing, renewal dates, and analytics
  • Providing cancellation guides and auto-drafted cancellation emails
  • Sending renewal reminders via email, SMS, or WhatsApp (if configured)

Track-Subs does not cancel subscriptions on your behalf. We provide guidance and tools; you perform the actual cancellation with each service provider.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account via Google OAuth, Microsoft OAuth, or email/password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use Track-Subs.

4. Plans and Pricing

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan includes up to 10 tracked subscriptions, 1 email scan per month, basic renewal reminders, and dashboard access at no cost.

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan is available at $6.99/month or $59.99/year. It includes unlimited subscriptions, unlimited AI-powered scans, cancellation assistant, spending analytics, savings goals, SMS/WhatsApp reminders, and priority support.

4.3 Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payments are processed securely via Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method at the beginning of each billing cycle.

4.4 Price Changes

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account Settings or by contacting support@track-subs.com.

  • Monthly plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds.
  • Annual plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period. We offer a full refund within the first 14 days of your annual subscription. After 14 days, no refunds for the remaining period.

Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is preserved.

6. Email Access and Data Usage

6.1 Read-Only Access

When you connect your Gmail or Outlook account, we request read-only access to your emails. Track-Subs cannot and will not:

  • Send emails from your account
  • Delete or modify any emails
  • Access emails outside of subscription-related scanning
  • Share your email content with third parties

6.2 What We Scan

Our AI engine searches for emails from known subscription services (receipts, invoices, renewal notices, billing confirmations). We extract: service name, price, billing cycle, renewal date, and currency. We do not read or store the full content of your personal emails.

6.3 Data Storage

Your subscription data is stored securely in our database (hosted by Supabase) with row-level security. Each user can only access their own data. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our Service
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service beyond normal use
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Track-Subs, its logo, design, features, and content are owned by ALYAS GROUP LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the subscription data we detect or any information you input.

9. Third-Party Services

Track-Subs integrates with third-party services including:

  • Google (Gmail API) — for email scanning
  • Supabase — for authentication and database
  • Paddle — for payment processing (Merchant of Record)
  • Resend — for email notifications

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Track-Subs is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will detect every subscription in your inbox
  • Pricing or renewal date information will be 100% accurate
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Cancellation guides will work for every service provider

You are responsible for verifying subscription details before making financial decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALYAS GROUP LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@track-subs.com. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through the competent courts.
